Hari Raya on Wednesday, so there was no school. went for lunch in Serangoon Gardens, and Mother Ang went for MJ so Father Ang, me, Maxine Ang and her Canadian--ahem--friend, went to look at monkeys at Pierce Reservoir. have to show the Canadian around ma!
monkeys are....unique.
the monkey in the last photo on the extreme right reminds me of my grandmother :x
damn gross, we saw this monkey humping another monkey vigorously. then it realized that we were watching and it stopped.
and then, there was another female monkey who kept carrying her dead baby around. she seemed to be in denial cos she kept slapping and shaking the baby like she was trying to wake it up. even when ppl threw food at her she just took her baby and scurried away. and she kept swatting the houseflies away like she didnt want them to get close to her baby and contaminate it or something. Maxine Ang has a close up photo of them, but she hasnt uploaded it yet.
then, it was off to Seletar Reservoir for the scenery or something. what's up with all the reservoirs anyway??
but i have to admit, the scenery is nice there.
this tree looks like it's in some angmoh temperate country instead of Singapore.
then Father Ang decided on whim to go to the Mandai Columbarium since it's quite close to visit his father and grandparents. Maxine Ang and said Canadian started snapping photos like it's some tourist attraction. i discovered that Father Ang's grandfather looks more like him than his father.
hahaha i have not failed geog LALA. old man actually praised me in my script sia, first time!! so maybe when he said i "improved tremendously" he really was referring to my geog grades. but sad case lah, stupid hydro pulled me down. old man's physical geog notes is just impossible.

next week is officially the last week of sch. but i bet i'll be going back like everyday man. sad, no life. :(
Cadbury turned 2 on Wednesday! Father Ang always gets irritated by him and keeps telling us to "throw him away". it's quite funny, haha.
